This is our sweet Pyredoodle, Daisy. We got her from a rescue in Nov 2014, and think she’s about 1.5 years old. She is the best dog– we just adore her!

Finding a reputable breeder for a first generation (F1) Prye-doodle isn’t easy and if you are willing to wait and pay for shipping, it’s absolutely worth it. We waited 1 1/2 years for a litter and it was just in the stars that we get a Pyre-doodle because a litter was born this past May just an hour from our home. He is hypo-allergenic and does not shed. Aspen has been easy to train so far (3 months old right now) and is already close to 30 lbs! He’s on target for 100-110 lbs. Establishing who’s in charge has been the most demanding of his training. We have a large backyard with a large garden that he will protect from critters as he gets older. He is also an incredible family pet and loves to be as close to people as possible. Our breeder told us we will have a 100 lb lap dog! Kind of true. Our breeder out here in southwest Ohio said this was Belle’s last litter; she’s had 4. Good luck, do your research, ask questions, and if you’re lucky enough, you might get to pick out your puppy before buying it, like we did.
I raise beautiful Great Pyrenees. I am picking up a AKC Standard Poodle to start breeding Pyredoodles. I hope by 2014 to have some Pyredoodle puppys. Look at my website. So you can see my new Male Poodle and my Great Pyrenees dogs. d
My family and I have been wanting to add a first generation Pyredoodle to our family for quite a while. However, we haven’t had any luck finding a reputable breeder within 5-6 hours from where we live in Greenville, MS. So, we have decided that as long as we can ascertain reasonably priced and safe shipping of a first generation Pyredoodle any distance within the continental US is acceptable. Any information you could provide will be greatly appreciated.
Cristy,
